Donald's Little Regrets
0 Comments Published by Salawi on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 10/25/2007 05:48:00 pm.Manama has signed Donald Little as their import player for this year. The former University of Cincinnati starting center has an interesting background, as his prospect for NBA career was ended when he was sentenced to jail.
Donald Little had major issues with his roommate back when he played basketball at Cincinnati in 2002. He reported $2,500 missing and decided roommate Justin Hodge must be involved. Little was charged with taping Hodge to a lawn chair and burning him with cigarettes and a heated coat hanger. Even by Cincinnati's standards, this was extreme behavior, and Little was kicked off the team and sentenced to 29 days in jail.
I'm sure he is a great player, but we hope that we will not see these incidents in our league this year.
